Beacon News photographer Craig Watson spent a day with an extra shadow on March 26, 2008 as College of DuPage photojournalism student, Ann Mehrman, 53, of West Chicago spent the day with Craig in a job shadow assignment. Watson’s assignments for the newspaper that day included covering a girls high school softball game and working with reporter Rowena Vergara as she gathered public opinion for a story about the economy.
